Choose a Software Contract Type

Choose the appropriate contract type based on how the Software is billed.

Use these questions as a guide:

• If there is no recurring payment, choose "One-Time Purchase".
• If charges vary based on usage rather than being fixed monthly or annually, choose "Usage-Based Billing".
• If the monthly or annual fee is fixed regardless of the number of accounts, choose "Recurring Billing (Fixed Fee)".
• If the monthly or annual fee is fixed per account and there is only one pricing plan, choose "Recurring Billing (Per Account)".
• If the same Software has multiple pricing plans, use manual License registration.

Outright Purchase

Use this when there are no recurring payments and a charge occurs only when the Software is purchased.

Registration example: Enter the amount paid at purchase.

Note: When "One-Time Purchase" is selected as the contract type, the usage fee trend graph is not displayed on the "Usage Fees" tab.

Pay-for-use

Use this when the amount is not a fixed monthly or annual fee and varies depending on usage or consumption.

Registration example: Enter the total monthly or annual amount.

Note: Do not enter a per-account amount.
